In his latest Instagram live video, Lunsford shared a piece of important news about what he was looking forward to now. While walking on the treadmills, the bodybuilder was talking to his fans and replying to their queries. When one of his fans asked him about his plans to participate at Arnold’s, the 2023 Mr. Olympia said one word to make the news and keep his fans anticipating. He stated, “Absolutely. Yes, I’d be at the Arnold’s.”

Often, many Mr. Olympia winners skip the Arnold Classic event as it gives them a much needed rest after the marquee event. However, it seems like Lunsford wants to get to all the competitions he can. However, it needs to be seen if the Mr. Olympia winner can repeat the same success at the Arnold Classic. That being said, since the event named after the seven-time Mr. Olympia winner is set to be on free Pay-Per-View this time, fans will definitely look forward to seeing the Olympia winner on stage.

Earlier, after losing the Mr. Olympia title to Derek Lunsford, last year’s winner, Hadi Choopan had stormed off the stage after being asked to pose with the medals. Later, Lunsford had talked about the comments he was getting from Choopan’s fans.

Derek Lunsford’s opinion about Choopan fans’ negative comments

In one of his Instagram posts, Lunsford put forward how he was getting several negative comments from fans of the Persian Wolf after the event. In reply, the 2023 Mr. Olympia simply said, “I just want to say that there is a point where it does cross the line.” Then he focused on the fact that he would not prefer that his family get dragged into these comments. Lunsford also mentioned that he is on good terms with Choopan, yet the fans were reacting aggressively.
