During the 2006 competition, Coleman was chasing history, aiming to surpass the record set by the legendary Lee Haney and himself. Cutler admitted feeling conflicted about his win, recognizing the tremendous expectations on Coleman’s shoulders. “He was going for his record, number nine. A lot of publicity going into the show, but I felt bad for Ronnie. I felt bad winning, which is weird, because, you know It was everything to him.”
Cutler expressed empathy for Coleman, recognizing the emotional toll the defeat took on the eight-time champion. “He was upset, you know, he was visually upset,” said the 50-year-old beast. Coleman considered the rivalry one of the greatest
Posting pictures of him with Cutler, Ronnie Coleman had went on to calling their rivalry “one of the Greatest Rivalry to ever hit the Olympia stage”. Replying to Coleman, Cutler had agreed to the notion and commented, “That’s right.”
