In the 1970s, Frank Zane revolutionized the bodybuilding world by achieving physical perfection. His incredible symmetry, well-defined muscles, and striking physique not only led him to dominate the competitive bodybuilding scene but also left a lasting impact on the sport.

In a recent episode of the Muscle & Fitness YouTube podcast, the bodybuilding beast and esteemed coach Milos Sarcev paid tribute to the God of Aesthetics, expressing his deep admiration for Zane’s aesthetic prowess and influence on the sport.

Sarcev, known as one of the top coaches in the contemporary era, highly praised 3x Mr. Olympia by calling him the “first classic Olympia.” The 59-year-old bodybuilder disclosed that he decorated his walls with his photos during his own bodybuilding journey, which showcased the immense inspiration Zane provided. “My walls were full of your pictures,” he added.

The Mind stressed that no one embodied excellence better than the Golden Era legend when visualizing the classic Olympia. In Sarcev’s opinion, Zane set the aesthetic standards that many strive to achieve. “If you can think of classic Olympia, you can be no better than Frank Zane,” the former Mr. Universe asserted.

In the podcast, they featured former IFBB-Pro Chris Cormier as well. As they discussed Sarcev’s favorite Frank Zane poses, both Sarcev and Cormier expressed admiration and curiosity for Zane’s vacuum pose. Although the Serbian monster initially disliked the pose, he came to appreciate the way Zane had mastered it like no one else.

Executing the vacuum pose effectively is an uncommon skill, and Sarcev realized that only a handful of individuals can truly make it look remarkable. “I hate vacuums but Frank made it perfect, not too many people look good in Vacuum.”
