Rolando Romero found Gervonta Davis near a corner at the edge of the ring. He then pushed him with a straight right hand and saw him back against the ropes. At this, Rolly got excited and thought it an excellent strategy to attack Davis with a jab to the head, followed by a straight hand, a little down his chin. However, Tank maintained his high guard and saw the opening to Romero’s face as the latter lowered his right arm.

Following this discovery, Davis countered Romero with an accurate left hand and immediately angled out of harm’s way. This saw Rolly dangle on the ropes and fall devastatingly onto the canvas.
