Tim Tszyu’s promoter says he understands Charlo’s decision

‘The Soul Taker’ Tszyu’s promoter and No Limit CEO George Rose sat down with Fox Sports Australia to spill the beans about Tim’s plans for this year. Rose says Charlo’s decision is an understandable one since no one would pass on the chance to fight Canelo. He says, “But I also understand Charlo’s decision. And put in the same position, I think everyone chooses the Canelo fight. Because it’s an iconic fight; and the biggest money fight. It’s a chance for Charlo to make history, and change his life. And what’s his alternative? Go and lose all four belts against Tim Tszyu.”

The No Limit CEO also thinks that Alvarez is primed to beat Jermell Charlo. He said that it’s been disappointing to see Charlo’s fight with Tim fall flat given everyone was rooting for it for two years now. It remains crucial to see if the WBO will strip Charlo of his title as he won’t be taking the mandatory fight against Tim before September 30.
