Garcia had also spoken about fighting Davis right after his Fortuna fight. He said, “I’m never going back down to 135. I’m going to stay at 140. I’m going to fight ‘Tank’ Davis if he wants it at 140. And if he doesn’t, then I’ll go fight some 140-pounder. But he’s going to want to do it.”

‘Tank’ Davis recently intrigued fans by tweeting the word ‘Done’. Many felt that he might be subliminally referring to signing a deal with Garcia.

‘KingRy’, on the other hand, further cemented the speculations by responding to the same, barely minutes later.

It looks like boxing fans can finally gear up for one of the most volcanic showdowns in the lightweight division.

Twitter users were intrigued by a potential Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis showdown

This feud happened at a time when Davis had been embroiled in issues with his former promoter, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hence boxing fans and Twitter users were unsure if the fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis would actually take place. And a lot of fans took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

A few users asked the duo to sign the contract rather than leaving subliminal messages.

Other users felt that the duo was just trolling and would never face each other. In fact, user @Chewy9991 even asked Garcia who his opponent was. Apparently, the user was sure that it was not Davis.

Meanwhile, @Lotti76949909 felt that the fight would get announced and then abruptly canceled.

Conversely, user @AlAbaba128, on the other hand, was sure of Davis’ victory in the fight.

A few users took the time to remember the feud between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford. And, user @toutontoast even mentioned that Spence and Crawford were avoiding each other.
