The blockbuster heavyweight collision between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is just a few more procedures away from meeting an official confirmation. Both the world champions have signed the dotted line and appear eager to step up. Hence, there’s no running away from each other at this point.
Meanwhile, unified titleholder Anthony Joshua has expressed his desire in accepting the fight with a minor demand from his end. The Watford native wants the fight to happen at Wembley Stadium.
In interaction with Siris XM, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed the champion’s unique demand, putting light on the possible venue of the fight.

Eddie Hearn: “If it’s 100,000 at Wembley, Anthony Joshua is signed and in for this [Tyson Fury] fight. We have to do our job, go around the world, present all the offers. But AJ told me categorically, ‘If it’s Wembley and it’s full, I’m in.” (h/t- Michael Benson Twitter)
Now, this may cast doubts amongst fans, as to whether Joshua would accept the fight if another venue gets finalized. That said, currently, all the heavyweight belts reside in England with Joshua and Fury being the champions. So, Britain will be a likely location for the fight.
However, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have also claimed to have looked into other options, including Dubai. Furthermore, as ‘AJ’ reclaimed his titles against Andy Ruiz Jr. at the successful ‘Clash On The Dunes’ in the Middle East, the Matchroom CEO is clearly considering it as a possible venue.
