“Beat the Blood Outta John Ryder”: After Leaving Opponent With Busted Nose, Canelo Alvarez’s Bloody Shoes Earns British Boxer Respect From Fans

Canelo Alvarez and John Ryder locked horns in front of more than 60,000 Mexicans in Alvarez’s homecoming fight. The Mexican fans witnessed their pride go 12 rounds and successfully defend his title against the Brit, even though many were not thrilled by the fight. The two put up a good fight for the fans who came to watch the two. Notably, Alvarez did cover parts of the canvas with Ryder’s blood as the Brit had blood pouring from his nose post the third round. And it seems like canvas is not the only place the blood fell.

A recent picture of Canelo Alvarez’s shoes after his fight against Ryder has caused a stir among fans as his white shoes turned red from Ryder’s blood. The fans are left in awe of the Mexican and pour in their reactions.

IFL TV re-shared the picture originally posted by Matchroom Boxing on their Facebook, showing Canelo Alvarez’s white shoes covered in red from Ryder’s blood after the fight. Alvarez damaged the Brit’s nose considerably, and he had blood throughout the fight.

It is safe to say that Canelo Alvarez’s shoes after the fight are a sign of what prevailed in the fight. And epitomizes the essence of boxing in itself. Two boxers leave everything inside the boxing ring, and this fight was no different from that principle.

Despite many efforts from his team, John Ryder was unable to stop the blood. He even claimed that he was unable to breathe during the fight as the blood was going in through his throat. But fans have also shown their respect for the Brit, as he still managed to continue fighting and go the distance against one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

One fan believes that Alvarez beat all the blood out of Ryder’s body. He commented, “He beat the blood outta John Ryder.”

Another fan showed his respect for Ryder and called him tough. But he thinks that Canelo put up a good show. He wrote, “Ryder is one tough bloke. Canelo gave him a good beating.”

One fan enjoyed the fight and wrote, “It was a hell of a fight.”

Another fan joked about the shoes, looking as if they were from a kickboxing match. He commented, “Those shoes look like they were part of a kick boxing match.”

One fan believes that despite his win over Ryder, Bivol still wins. He commented, “Ryder total respect to him, loads of others didn’t go that far. Bivol will win again………. Canelo is one of the best ever and I like him, but Bivol just has the edge for me.”
