Deontay Wilder is still receiving criticism as he justified his defeat to Tyson Fury by blaming his long time trainer Mark Breland. Wilder had accused Breland of spiking his water, which the boxing community didn’t find credible.
Despite that, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ continued to lash at Breland. Now, several boxing pundits, including Top Rank CEO, Bob Arum, has dived in to ridicule the former WBC heavyweight champion. The 88-year-old has questioned Deontay Wilder’s sanity and took Mark Breland’s side in the entire debate.
While boxing fans are mostly aware of Bob Arum’s loudmouth, he donned a similar persona while bashing ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

In a chat with IFL TV, Arum said, “One has to objectively question Wilder’s sanity. I mean, this is beyond the pale. I mean here Wilder accuses his corner guy, who was a Olympic champion, a professional middleweight champion, one of the world champion who has an impeccable reputation, great gentleman, and so forth, accuses him of spiking his (Wilder’s) water. Which made no sense in his own cornerman.”

Bob Arum continued to spit venom on Wilder. The Top Rank CEO wasn’t ready to buy his claims under any situation, and it was prominent in his recent interview.
Arum continued, “So, Breland answered it back to show how absurd it was that why would he spike his own guy’s water. Wilder went crazy, called Breland ungrateful. I mean, made no sense. He (Wilder) is living in a different universe.”

What’s next for Deontay Wilder?
Following his maiden loss against Fury, Wilder hasn’t announced his return. Meanwhile, Tyson Fury seems to have set his eyes on fighting unified titleholder Anthony Joshua. So, it leaves Wilder with no title shot at this stage.
However, he is rumored to return soon and encounter American heavyweight, Chris Martin. On bagging a win, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ can rightfully demand another title shot.
