On August 29, Jake Paul will make his much-awaited boxing comeback. This time, he will face the ex-UFC welterweight king, Tyron Woodley. Many consider this as the toughest test for the YouTuber turned boxer, as Woodley, who holds some paramount experience in MMA, is capable of knocking anyone out.
However, Paul isn’t concerned about his rival’s skill sets and he’s walking into this fight with a composed mindset. Recently, ‘The Problem Child’, who interacted with True Geordie, shed some light on Woodley’s last UFC appearance against Vicente Luque.
“Yeah, he, he jumped in there. He like bounced up like a gazelle with his legs bouncing and being wobbly and, like you said, he wasn’t being smart at all. He was landing good punches but then he was just taking a bunch,” said Paul.

Woodley enjoyed an exemplary career in the UFC. But right after his loss to the current champ, Kamaru Usman, ‘The Chosen One’ fell prey to every opponent he faced. He lost to Gilbert Burns and Colby Covington. The winless run continued in his last fight against Vicente Luque as well. Despite looking aggressive in the initial minutes, Tyron Woodley eventually ended up losing that fight.
Looking at how Woodley performed, Jake Paul will look forward to noting down the former’s weaknesses. And he will be keen to employ his finest skill sets to hammer Woodley in his first pro-boxing encounter itself.
