Floyd Mayweather is by far the most accomplished boxing personality of all time. After retirement too, Mayweather has ensured that he has contributed to the sport of boxing either directly or indirectly. His efforts have earned him many admirers, and one of them is ‘GWOAT’ Claressa Shields.
In a conversation with FightHype, Shields asserted her respect for Floyd Mayweather, who has his eyes on her progress in combat sports.
She said, “Well one, you know I like Floyd Mayweather. You know just his whole lifestyle. Just how he make all his decisions, have his own team move when he want to move, make as much money as he want to make. I mean, he’s probably made more money than any other boxer in the history of boxing.”

A few days back, Shields was in a virtual chat with ‘Pretty Boy’. In the conversation, Mayweather came up with some words of encouragement for Shields, eventually leaving her emotional.

Is Claressa Shields fighting Savannah Marshall next?
Claressa Shields is not fighting Savannah Marshall next. First, she will look to defend her middleweight titles under the big lights on February 5 against Ema Kozin. If ‘T-Rex’ lives up to expectations and retains her belt, a fight with Marshall will be on the cards.
