

Claressa Shields and Jake Paul are huge rivals. The YouTuber turned boxer, since his win over Nate Robinson last year, has had verbal exchanges with the biggest of combat sports stars. However, no one expected him to engage in a verbal slugfest with Claressa Shields.
Recently, Shields succumbed to her first combat sports loss in her PFL outing against Abigail Montes. Subsequently, Jake Paul launched a scathing virtual attack on ‘T-Rex’ on Twitter. ‘The Problem Child‘ even called her a ‘loser’. Eventually, his statements attracted mass attention.

Since then, the rift between the two has only increased. Moreover, even Shields took a dig at Paul and she challenged the Ohio native to a sparring session. But, recently, ‘GWOAT’ once again took a dig at her rival.

Recently, FightHype released a video in which Shields was talking about Jake Paul and his presser with Tommy Fury.
“First of all so, I saw jake Paul and Tommy Fury press conference. What a clown show! Honestly, what a clown show! But that’s what they have to do to sell fights. Nobody wants to see Jake. People want to see Jake Paul fight just because of like the answers his brings to boxing,” she said.

The YouTuber turned boxer will lock horns with his first pro-boxing opponent in Tommy Fury. Hence, it is expected to be Paul’s toughest test yet, as he has only fought celebrities and retired MMA champions in his career. Considering that, fans may tune in, in large numbers, to watch possibly the final boxing blockbuster of 2021.

While Claressa Shields, in her above statement, hit out at Paul, she also had some words of praise for the 24-year-old. The rivalry between these two seems far from reaching saturation. However, a statement like this coming from ‘T-Rex’s end might shock many fans.
