The undefeated stalwart of modern boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has had some exciting news in his family. The legendary pugilist has become a grandfather. His daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, welcomed her first child with NBA ‘Youngboy’ Kentrell Gaulden on December 9.

Sohhdotcom shared a story from Iyanna ‘Yaya’ Mayweather’s official Instagram account, wherein ‘Money’ Mayweather is seen holding his grandson covered with a blanket.

Mayweather Jr. announced his daughter’s pregnancy news on October 30 at the episode of the Hollywood Unlocked: Uncensored podcast. “I just want the best for my daughter. Always want the best.” said the 43-year-old.

Mayweather Jr. spends lushly on his kids and lets them take life decisions on their own. He respects their privacy and personal concerns and never forces his decisions onto them. The undefeated boxer seemed extremely happy with the addition of a new member to the Mayweather clan.

Meanwhile, grandpa Mayweather is gearing up for his boxing return against fellow American and YouTuber Logan Paul. With a bundle of happiness arriving in his family, Mayweather will be in an elevated state of mind.

Floyd Mayweather awaiting his electrifying return

Floyd Mayweather officially hung his gloves from the sport in 2017. Post that he competed just once, in an exhibition bout. A few days back, he announced his return to the squared circle against cruiserweight Paul for a six-round fight.

Earlier the fight was set for February 20, but now, its future is up in the air.
