Deontay Wilder’s Coach Predicts an Anthony Joshua Loss Against Oleksandr Usyk – “I Don’t Think This Is Andy Ruiz”

Anthony Joshua has vowed to avenge his defeat against Oleksandr Usyk in 2022 and regain his lost heavyweight straps. After being gutted by a UD loss in September, Joshua is at a very crucial stage of his career. One more defeat can eject him from the ongoing title race.
While Joshua seems confident about his ability, not everyone sees him beating the Ukrainian legend. Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder’s coach Malik Scott has this opinion.

In an exclusive chat with ES NEWS, Scott said, “I think we are dealing with someone that may have his number. I don’t think this is Andy Ruiz, you can just fight of the back foot. I think Usyk may have AJ’s number. And if I was a betting man, I would bet that the rematch will be more interesting but I will still go with Usyk for the victory.”
Infamous Press Conference Moments of 2021
After Joshua suffered the defeat against Usyk, Scott turned to social media and expressed his support. But logically, he doesn’t see the Brit star surpassing Oleksandr Usyk. Well, Anthony Joshua has already begun training and was spotted in an intense drill with his US trainer. Thus, we can expect him to shock the world whenever the re-match takes place.

Anthony Joshua can not be counted out
Joshua really looked below-average in his latest outing. Although he is an Olympic gold medalist and has all the A-listed features to tout, an immediate rematch can still present him with many troubles. Usyk is also an Olympic gold medalist and has been unbeaten on the professional ride. Moreover, he is a southpaw and has a brilliant fight IQ. All these factors favor Usyk to retain the heavyweight titles.
However, Joshua is a KO artist and has stopped some of the best names of his time in the ring. Hence, despite what happened in September, he can not be counted out when the duo steps through the ropes for a rematch.
