The heavyweight title unification matchup between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua might appear to be on the brink of being finalized. However, not everyone sees it happening this year.
Heavyweight puncher, Derek Chisora, believes neither champion will square off this year and the title clash might get postponed till 2022. Although Eddie Hearn has reflected on the recent developments to the fight, ‘War’ Chisora didn’t find his words credible enough. He connected with IFL TV and shed opinion on the much-awaited heavyweight collision.

“Eddie Hearn is just coming up with bullsh**. No, I am not buying it. I am not buying it at all,” said ‘War’.
He added, “I believe it don’t happen this year. I am not buying it, man. Where? You have to ask yourself. Where is the fight going to happen?”
However, the official reports from the management have been completely different. They claim that the fight will take place before August with several possible locations onboard. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is also a likely venue, as it successfully hosted Anthony Joshua’s second-last pro fight against Andy Ruiz Jr. Nevertheless, Chisora claimed Saudi Arabia is shut and belittled Hearn’s claims.
Derek Chisora said, “Saudi is shut, you can’t go to Saudi. It’s all nonsense my friend, the fight is not happening this year.”
