Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez has surprisingly failed to make it into the list of the top 5 highest-paid fighters per punch over the past 13 years. The list, which was recently released, includes names such as Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor, and Anthony Joshua. However, the Mexican superstar who boasts a net worth of $180 million has not made his way into the list.
According to the list, Mayweather takes the top spot with an average of £239,358 per punch over the past 13 years. McGregor follows closely behind with an average of £225,160 per punch, while Joshua takes third place with an average of £208,743 per punch.

This was not all as boxing legend Mike Tyson also made it to the list despite being retired from boxing for a long time. ‘Iron’ Mike reportedly sits in fourth place with an average of £124,342 per punch. The fifth spot is secured by former heavyweight champion and Ukrainian legend Wladimir Klitschko who averaged £115,215. Despite his impressive net worth, Alvarez is noticeably absent from the list. This is somewhat surprising, given that he is one the highest-earning fighters in the world and is also currently active in the sport. Moreover, the fans were quick to point this out as they reacted to this interesting list of highly acclaimed boxers.

While Alvarez may not have made it onto the list of highest-paid fighters per punch, it’s worth noting that he is still one of the highest-paid boxers in the world today. In his last fight against Gennady Golvokin, the undisputed champion took home around $65 million in his total fight purse. In addition to this, he also has endorsement deals with brands like Under Armour and Tecate. Alvarez may not have made it onto the list of highest-paid fighters per punch over the past 13 years.
