As the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight has failed to get on the floors, there is a string of opponents who are waiting to battle the unified heavyweight champ.
That said, the WBC interim heavyweight champion, Dillian Whyte now wants to capitalize on this opportunity and fight his compatriot Joshua in a blockbuster rematch.
Recently, his trainer, Xavier Miller, put on an Instagram story, wherein he asserted that “We want Wilder vs Fury 3 winner.”

However, Whyte came out with a response to his trainer’s statement. He himself then took it to his Instagram story, stating, “No, I want AJ now next.”
Whyte, in his last fight, outclassed the veteran Alexander Povetkin. This was his rematch with the ‘Russian Vityaz’ and the Brit came out strong with his cosmic game plan and strategy.
Right from the first bell, ‘The Body Snatcher’ made his intentions clear and adapted an offensive approach. This helped him break Povetkin’s style of fighting and it also assisted him in stopping the long-time runner of the sport.
With that win, Whyte put himself in top of contention to face the WBC champ, Tyson Fury. However, the latter is now locked in to fight his foe, Deontay Wilder.
And until and unless Wilder and Fury settle on one true winner, ‘The Body Snatcher’ will have to take on anyone else in the line. Considering the situation at hand, Whyte wants to take on the Anthony Joshua rematch.
