Florida’s new gun law allows individuals to carry concealed firearms without a permit. The bill was introduced by Speaker Paul Renner and was passed by the Florida House on Friday with a 76-32 vote. If signed into law, gun owners would no longer need a concealed weapons permit and training to carry firearms within the state. Florida Governor DeSantis has already expressed his support for the bill and intends to sign it into law.
