While fans prepare to witness the battle of Britain unfold, they were caught rather off-guard by a surprising video. To their amusement, fans spotted former champion, Anthony Joshua, helping Derek Chisora at a boxing gym, prepping him for his clash against Tyson Fury. While Fury and Usyk’s bout next year will settle the question of who will be the undisputed King, the schedules lined up from October nonetheless guarantee signs of a memorable coup.

Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury will meet fellow Briton and WBC Heavyweight challenger Derek ‘Del Boy War’ Chisora on December 3rd at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London for a third and perhaps the last time. However, 2 months away from the fight, this video of AJ has emerged as the talking point.
The 22-second clip shows AJ and Del Boy War going through focused bag-punching and combinations while moving.

Anthony Joshua’s management company, 258 MGT, has had a tie-up, helping another Briton and heavyweight, Franze Clarke, since ’21. So that may suffice in settling the former champion’s training credentials; though Twitterati took the incident to voice their concerns over AJ’s current status.

One fan criticized AJ for backing out from a fight with Tyson Fury.
He’s alright helping derek when his arse fell out and wouldn’t sign the contract to fight fury

I don’t think anyone cares – @Tyson_Fury and the rest have made boxing a joke nowadays – take a look at how @LennoxLewis conducted himself ….

Another fan suggested Aj take a few journeyman assignments.
What a guy aj is…he ducks the fury fight and helps delboy prepare for inevitable beating at the hands of Tyson.

There wasn’t a shortage of war-mongers who wanted Anthony Joshua to take on Deontay Wilder.
Think I would love to see AJ v Wilder, that’s the fight of the year, massive fight for both boxers, lots to lose if they fall short but lots of gain if they win. 🥊🥊🥊 #respect

But that was immediately rubbished aside.
AJ gets knocked into next year. He’s scared of getting hit. No way he’s fighting wilder

Since his defeat at the hands of Ukrainian Alexander Usyk on August 20th, speculation is rife on the next course of action for AJ. According to his promoter Eddie Hearn, Dillian Whyte seems to be the most probable bet. But not to mention, AJ had previously beaten Whyte in 2015.

Having turned 33 on October 15th, Anthony Joshua still has time by his side to salvage his sinking fortune. What do you think? Should AJ walk the talk and set his record straight before lending a helping hand to mates in the same fault line?
