Floyd Mayweather remained at the top of his game for almost 21 years. In his immaculate boxing run, Mayweather fought some of the biggest fighters of his era, and never once in his professional career did he lose a bout. That said, the boxing legend finally hung up his gloves in 2017 with a clean 50-0 record.

On The Pivot Podcast, ‘Money’ addressed this point and added, “I don’t knock no fighter, I love all fighters, don’t knock no fighter. But things, the difference between me and any other fighter, my records are here to stay.”

“Do I want to see them break my records? Absolutely, but they won’t be broken.”
Starting his career in 1996, Mayweather piled on to the top with constant wins. In an era of aggressive fighters, ‘Pretty Boy’ broke into the limelight by showing up with his defensive boxing abilities. His shoulder roll, head movements, and overall fast-paced movements made him a renowned defensive boxer of the new era.

Mayweather had knockout power under the bag, but it wasn’t the best. Out of his 50 wins, the Michigan native claimed 27 T/KO wins, taking his total KO ratio to 54%.

The 44-year-old was always a fan of taking his fights deep. That said, he had enough stamina every time to keep a similar punching accuracy for full 12-rounds, thus pinning his adversaries.

‘TBE’ was a prolific counter attacker, too, who used to trap his rivals in his stupendous game plans. In all, his style always remained tough to decode for his opponents, and that’s why no one could ever break into his defense to batter him.
