In 2017, Floyd Mayweather took his last pro-boxing fight against Conor McGregor. As expected, this was a decorated outing for the undefeated boxing legend, wherein he proved his case by winning with a T/KO. Since then, Mayweather has kept himself active with exhibition fights and other boxing activities as a promoter.

However, Mayweather’s trainer, Gerald Tucker, still believes he has enough left in him to battle a top contender. Speaking to Dailymail, Tucker spilled the beans on the 44-year-old’s impeccable boxing prowess.

He said, “I think he’s going to fight a couple of times every year. It’s great money and there’s people like me, huge fans of Floyd’s style that want to see him in the ring just displaying his skills, that are unmatched in the history of the sport.”

“Nothing from anything he’s said, just from the way he looks in the gym and how easy it is for him to beat people up in sparring. And I mean guys who could become a world champion in the next year or two.”

“So yeah, I’m very optimistic we’ll see him in the ring one more time and put his unbeaten, flawless record on the line.”

Last year, Floyd Mayweather took up an exhibition bout against Logan Paul. Although Paul had his moments in the fight, the boxing elite stuck to his elite defensive game plan and shook him.

Mayweather couldn’t finish his rival, but he still seemed fresh. Displaying terrific stamina and punching accuracy, ‘TBE’ showed his flawless boxing abilities at his current age. That said, his coach is extremely confident about Mayweather turning the tide in his favor against a boxing biggie, too.
