Last month, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury entered the ring for the third time against each other. Many boxing purists expected this bout to be one-sided, with Fury going out with an easy win. But what followed was no less than magic. Wilder, the underdog, dropped Fury twice in the fight and had a substantial amount of moments.

Although ‘The Bronze Bomber’ failed to attain a win, he still left the ring with some sound respect.
Both Fury and Wilder got immense applause for their performances, and many hotshots loved this fight. However, there’s one bigwig who didn’t really enjoy this contest, and that’s Floyd Mayweather.

In a fresh interaction with media, Mayweather said, “Only heavyweight era I know is the Larry Holmes, the Mike Tyson.”

“You know, the heavyweight division is not what it once was. It’s changed totally. But I take my hat onto the fighters and the competitors, but Boxing has changed drastically. I’m talking about as far as in the heavyweight division. But don’t worry about it, remember I brought all the money down to small weight classes.”

Mayweather might not have found the Fury vs Wilder bout great. However, that contest lived up to the expectations and, in fact, it came out better than expected.
This trilogy was full of knockdowns and extreme power punching. Wilder had his moments in the fight, but Fury was too good for him. As a result, ‘The Gypsy King’ ended up winning this bout with a blistering KO in round 11.
