George Kambosos Jr. Slams Teofimo Lopez for Pulling Out: ‘You Waved Your White Flag’

George Kambosos Jr. has constantly claimed that he overpowers Teofimo Lopez, even though he has already seen two failed fight dates against the champion. While he was about to face ‘Take Over’ for all four lightweight belts on June 19, Lopez got tested positive for coronavirus, which postponed the entire fight card. This second derailment has clearly vexed ‘Ferocious’ as he brutally mocked Teofimo Lopez in a latest social media post.
June 19 was a busy day for boxing. While several fighters with the likes of Jermall Charlo, Naoya Inoue, and Mikaela Mayer were defending their world titles, Kambosos Jr. had nothing to do. Hence, he proclaimed himself as 20-0 and put his feet on Teofimo Lopez’s poster.
The undefeated Australian boxer posted his picture on social media and warned Teofimo Lopez about their upcoming encounter. In the caption, George Kambosos Jr. wrote, “20-0. You Waved Your White Flag. I Won The Battle And I Will Win The War!! I’m Right Here In Miami. Come Do Something Fugazi, It Was Meant To Be Fight Day, So You Know I’m WAR.”

Prior to June 19, the fight was originally scheduled to happen on June 5. However, Floyd Mayweather‘s return on the next day seemed to be a collision to Triller Fight Club. So, Triller didn’t hesitate to go against other boxing events on June 19, before falling away from that date too.
That said, a new date is not on board. Apart from the sensational headliner, there are several more big fights on the card. As Triller has already announced the event, it is likely to go down in a few months. Meanwhile, an official confirmation from matchmakers will only settle the doubts.
