Former reality TV show star Tommy Fury secured the biggest win of his boxing career after beating YouTube sensation Jake Paul in a close split decision victory. Moreover, the British boxer handed ‘The Problem Child’ his first-ever loss in the sport answering the question of who is the best influencer boxer on the planet.

However, this might just be the start of Fury’s influencer boxing journey as the seeds for a new rivalry might have been sown. YouTube star and professional boxer KSI were quick to jump in on the party and take shots at both Paul and Fury after the fight. In a Tweet, he claimed that he would ‘destroy’ both Fury and Paul which might have been enough to stir the pot. Now, veteran coach and Tommy’s father John Fury has come out and fired back at the rapper and boxer and responded to his claims.

John Fury urgers KSI to talk to his lawyers if he wants to face Tommy Fury

In a recent interview with IFL TV, John claimed that if KSI wanted to really book a fight with his son, he needed to contact John’s lawyers to draft up a contract and make the fight official. “KSI if you’re watching this now. If you want that fight, get hold of our lawyers.” he said.

Tommy has already responded to KSI’s claims and was more than eager to fight the British Youtuber even suggesting that Paul was the far superior boxer. However, the fans were quick to brutally shut down John for calling out KSI as they reacted to the interview.

John Fury’s KSI callout draws in wild reactions from fans

A user named Stuart Mannick claimed that John was admitting that Fury is not serious about contending for a title in the future.

Another user named Shivam hoped that Tommy knocks out KSI to become a YouTuber champion.

Moreover, a fan stated that the Fury family was trying to make the most out of this victory and taking advantage of KSI’ and Paul’s popularity.

However, one fan claimed that Tommy cannot face KSI since he is obligated to give Paul a rematch.

A user named Steven Clark also called out John and was not a fan of how he was training Tommy. According to him John did not have any role with his son and is only trying to make money off of him.

Lastly a fan stated that John knows what he was doing. According to him, he knew that Tommy would not last with high-level competition, thus making it better to fight influencers and make far more money.

Fury proved that he could hang with influencer boxers and will look to fight tougher competition moving forward. However, using his popularity and fighting other popular internet celebrities could be a wise decision financially for the rising star. KSI certainly fits that bill with his fame being on par with the Paul brothers and other top influencers.
