“I Can’t Keep Up With This S**T”: Fans Lose It as Floyd Mayweather & Gervonta Davis Confront Each Other to Seemingly Squash Their Beef at Benavidez vs. Plant

Gervonta Davis plans to become the face of boxing. The Baltimore hard-hitter is known for his tremendous knockout power. And has made himself a household name in the sport. After his professional debut in 2013, Gervonta Davis went on to meet one of the greatest boxers in the world, and two years later, he decided to make the move to Mayweather Promotions. It is safe to say that it proved to be a turning point in Davis’s career. And he was shaped to become one of the best in the sport. Floyd Mayweather Jr played a pivotal role in the 26-year-old boxer’s early years. But, the partnership between the two came to an abrupt end.

Recently, an interaction between Mayweather Jr and Gervonta Davis has caused a stir among the fans. And the boxing world is confused with regard to the relationship between the two.

The Benavidez Vs. Plant’s main event witnessed the presence of numerous boxing stars, including ‘Money-man’ Mayweather and Gervonta Davis. The duo seemed to have a little chat when they came across each other during this fighting event.

In a video posted by FightHype, Mayweather and ‘Tank’ are seen talking to each other. Even though what they are saying cannot be heard, it is safe to say that they are on good terms and don’t have any bad blood for each other.

Further, during an interview, when Mayweather Jr was asked about Davis leaving his promotion, he responded, “Every fighter is entitled to make whatever move they wanna make. I think am one of the pioneers in becoming a boxing entrepreneur.” 

He added, “Everybody can sell out of my contract .everybody knows the story about me buying my contract for 750k. Its just smart and intelligent . surviving with the right pieces and playing chess.”

Davis left the Mayweather Promotions after his fight against Ronald Romero last year. And, ‘pretty-boy’ Mayweather Jr himself wished the 28-year-old well for his future endeavors.  An old clip of Mayweather Jr with his former mentee Davis sent fans into a frenzy. This interaction attracted strong reactions from the boxing world.

Car Painter 19 believes that Mayweather Jr is self-obsessed with himself. He commented, “It’s insane how Mayweather is so obsessed with himself.”

All of this is too much for Bryan. He wrote, “One minute they’re beefing, the next minute they’re not. I can’t keep up with this shit. “

Richy Qwavoo believes Davis should’ve landed an uppercut. He wrote, “Gervonta should’ve uppercut him and sent him to the shadow realm.”

Mike Thinks all of this is being done to get the attention of the fans. He commented, “Bruh there was no beef lmao… all that stuff is to bring attention to the fight. Notice how it’s always a “beef” every time tank has a fight.”
