Khabib Nurmagomedov has once again heaped praises on the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, pinpointing the Brit’s impeccable features that have made him near-invincible in the ring. Both Nurmagomedov and Fury have been undefeated stars and have had reigned their respective weight categories in their respective sports.

While ‘The Eagle’ has bid goodbye to the sport of MMA, ‘The Gypsy King’ is still defending his world championship status. Now, it continues to bring exciting matchups for Tyson Fury, along with legitimate threats that can snatch away his unbeaten aura. However, Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t see that happening.

The UFC elite has complete faith in Tyson Fury and believes he will remain undefeated. However, in an exclusive chat with Sky Sports, he named the fighter who can possibly be the toughest challenge for Fury.

Per Michael Benson, Khabib Nurmagomedov said, “He is the best right now. I think Fury is on a different level… In boxing, I don’t see anyone even touching his face – maybe Oleksandr Usyk. Usyk is going to be a tough challenge for Fury.”

Well, the Khabib-Fury saga is already spinning headlines all over the world for some uncanny reasons. A few weeks back, Tyson Fury took to social media and praised Khabib Nurmagomedov’s achievements in the sport of MMA.

It didn’t sit well with Nurmagomedov’s arch-nemesis Conor McGregor, who then ridiculed Tyson Fury. That erupted a war of words between ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘Notorious’. Khabib Nurmagomedov stared out of it but he’s back again to raising Tyson Fury with his latest interview.

Can Tyson Fury retire undefeated like Khabib Nurmagomedov?

Tyson Fury is currently aligned to put his WBC belt at stake against Dillian Whyte. On gaining a possible win, he can leap towards the undisputed heavyweight title fight. All these matchups will put Fury into critical situations, but that’s nothing new to him. Having knocked out Deontay Wilder twice in a row, Fury sits at the helm of his division.
