Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the most influential boxers in recent times. The undefeated boxer has achieved unprecedented accolades both inside and outside the ring. Even years after his retirement, many notable personalities express how Mayweather inspired them through his work ethic. On his Instagram, Mayweather posted a clip of an interview in which Ernestine Johnson reveals her relationship with the boxer and how being around him motivated her.
Johnson is famous in Hollywood as a multi-faceted artist. Amongst other things, she is an actor, producer, and director. She is good friends with ‘Money’ Mayweather and in an interview, she confessed the influence of the 50-0 boxer in her life.

What did Ernestine Johnson say about Floyd Mayweather?
Johnson talks about the startling work ethic Mayweather possesses, to the extent that he oozes an aura that motivates others. In an interview, she explains her relationship with the boxer, saying, “Floyd Mayweather, the highest paid athlete, not the highest paid boxer the highest paid athlete in the world. I had the opportunity and pleasure to be around him for many years. I was his personal shopper, I was his personal friend of his family.”
Mayweather is undoubtedly the richest boxer and one of the highest-paid athletes of all time. Though he was not born into such abundant wealth, he had to quite literally fight his way to achieve his dreams. Reflecting on his passion for the sport and lifestyle, Johnson added, “One of my greatest memories of just being lucky enough to be in that environment was watching him train. Watching Floyd Mayweather train is a master class in discipline it is a master class in work ethic. I don’t know if anything works harder than Floyd Mayweather. That’s how I want to train for the rest of my life. I want my life to look like that.”
Mayweather noticed such kind words and could not help himself but share the clip on his Instagram. He appreciated Johnson for the praise and mentioned that his goal is to inspire others.

Mayweather is not only an inspiration to her but to many around the world. He is one of the only few boxers who retired undefeated without being defeated in the ring. Not to mention, Mayweather Jr. is also the richest boxer ever.
