Liam Payne’s appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast has been stirring some controversy and the former One Direction star was not afraid to take shots at Canadian pop-star Justin Bieber.

In the podcast, Liam discussed his former band members, their eventual split, and his beef with Justin Bieber in 2015.

Logan Paul asks Liam Payne about a fight with Justin Bieber

In a segment of the podcast, the host Logan Paul asks Payne about a potential fight with Justin Bieber.

Paul says, “I really do think a fight between you and Bieber could be interesting.” Payne responds by saying,” I don’t think he’d do it. I think he would be very skilled to do it.”

Co-host Mike Majlak then interrupts Payne, saying, “Are you calling him a p***y?” Payne replies,” No I’m not calling him a p***y, I just don’t think he’d do it.” When asked why, he adds, “for the same reason I wouldn’t fight Trippy Redd, I’m not on his level.”

Both Paul and Majlak were stunned by this and Paul then asked Payne,” Do you think Bieber’s not at your level?” and instead of explaining further, Payne starts doing an impersonation of Johnny Depp’s Pirates of the Caribbean character Captain Jack Sparrow.

Majlak called out Payne on this and said, “See he’s pretending to be someone else again. He said he does that when he gets in certain situations, he just pretends,”. Liam then impersonated Heath Ledger’s famous character, The Joker from the movie The Dark Knight, continuing to avoid the question about not being on Justin’s level.

Liam Payne’s beef with Justin Bieber

While it is unclear if Payne wants to fight Justin Bieber; He did address his 2015 feud with Bieber on the podcast.

The beef started when Liam responded to an apparent Justin Bieber fan on Twitter. Who suggested that he would never be as successful as Bieber, to which he responded, “How many times have I been arrested”. Referring to the time Justin Bieber was arrested for drunk driving in 2014.

Liam admitted on the podcast that he was drunk when he tweeted that statement and meant no harm by the tweet. Payne then added that he had cleared the tension with the Canadian pop star and things were fine between them.
