The long-awaited fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis has reached its conclusion, with Davis winning by TKO in the seventh round. The fight ended after Tank was able to land a body shot right on the liver. Garcia soon fell to his knees and was in pain.  He could no longer continue the fight.

The fight left a lot of people perplexed as they watched Garcia being outclassed by Davis. Combined with Davis’ prophecy of a seventh-round knockout coming true, it definitely raised some eyebrows. Garcia later revealed what went wrong in the fight.

Recently, even Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., the legendary boxer, has expressed his disappointment in Ryan Garcia’s performance and has vowed not to watch his fights anymore. Chavez was particularly upset with the way Garcia lost to Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis last Saturday night in Las Vegas. He stated that the body shot that knocked Garcia down in the seventh round wasn’t even a punch, and he doesn’t understand why Garcia didn’t attempt to get back up and continue fighting. Boxingego recently shared Chavez’s views on Garcia in a recent Facebook post. Boxing fans went wild in response to Chavez’s statement.
