Welterweight prospect Ivan Redkach will try to bounce back from his loss against Danny Garcia. He will fight Regis Prograis on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17. The Ukrainian hard-hitter appears confident of claiming the win, but a fight with Prograis (25-1) might not be a walk in the park.
That said, Redkach has recently recalled breaking Prograis’s nose when they sparred back in the days. However, Ivan Redkach did that with precision. In the latest media interaction, ‘El Terrible’ opened up on his upcoming fight with ‘Rougarou’ and revealed some interesting insights from their previous encounter.
The 35-year-old said, “We had a great sporting session, and it was just a part of the training, a couple of times. You know what I am not sure, but probably I broke his nose in one of the sparring sessions.” (via a translator)

Redkach holds a professional record of 23 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw with 21 wins coming via KOs. After debuting in 2009, he went on a tear with his prowess. While it later became a journey of ups and downs, Redkach is still relevant in the current welterweight roster. However, Regis Prograis will have his legitimate chances inside the ring.

Preview: Ivan Redkach vs Regis Prograis

‘Rougarou’ Prograis is one of the best hard hitters of the super lightweight division and can seemingly put the 140 lbs on notice with a win over Redkach. While Ben Askren and Jake Paul will headline the event on Triller, a serious clash between Prograis and ‘El Terrible’ can bring in a lot of hardcore fans.
