While some call it a gross mismatch, others are already predicting a grim fate for ‘The Problem Child’. Either way, it’s supposed to be an exciting and expensive affair. An expensive price to pay for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

Paul, 27, turned to his X handle and shared a clip from a local news channel. The news channel declared Tyson vs. Paul as one of the hottest tickets ever at AT&T Stadium and specified that one had to travel 500 miles and spend an average of $500 on the fight to witness the action up close. The YouTuber-turned-prize fighter wrote, “Hottest ticket ever…#PaulTyson.”

Notably, the New York Post had listed the prices of the fight some days ago. The cheapest ticket would cost around $211 at Vivid Seats, and they would go as high as $5,145 for the floor-level tickets. While the fight will stream free on Netflix to its 260 million subscribers, the stadium prices are quite expensive. However, the fans gave Paul a reality check, as they believed it was due to ‘Iron Mike’, not him.

Fans slam ‘The Problem Child’

A couple of fans showed the younger of the Paul brothers a mirror and suggested that the soaring prices were because of Tyson. One fan wrote, “Yes it will because of Mike Tyson not you.”

Similarly, one user said, “Mike Tyson is selling the fight…not you.”

Someone pointed out that Paul bragging about the “atrocious” prices was “wild.”

A comment suggested that Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury would bag the hottest ticket of the year label, not Tyson vs. Paul. They responded, “A YouTuber vs a 57 year old who was great 20 + years ago it’s knowhere near going to be the hottest ticket ever not even of the year Usyk vs fury will be miles in front so will so many professional fights that happened before it.”

A boxing fan called this a massive win for Paul, who was changing the game, compared to his archrival KSI.

Likewise, another fan slammed KSI for his venture, Prime, and for avoiding Paul.

Someone believed that if Paul didn’t win the fight with a KO, his credibility would go down.

Lastly, a comment jokingly asked to pay the local news for the advertisement.

Paul comes into the fight on the heels of two first-round KO wins as he improves his boxing record to 9-1. Meanwhile, Tyson had hung up his boxing gloves two decades ago and has only fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight in 2020. It remains to be seen how the former world champion negates the speed and stamina of Paul and lands power punches of his own.
