Former champions- Kell Brook and Amir Khan are just over a month away from locking horns in Manchester, and the mutual hatred between them is already prominent. Both men are at the age of 35 right now and will relinquish years of ring-rust to take on each other. That said, the Brit stars are ready to offer their best version, with Brook edging towards putting his opponent to sleep.

While Amir Khan is also an A-lister knockout artist, he has reflected to have a weak chin in several of his losses, and that seems to have been Brook’s blueprint of success. In an exclusive chat with iFL TV, ‘Special K’ addressed several scenarios surrounding his camp. He also detailed his feelings for ‘King Khan’ and the particular fight.

Brook said, “I dislike him man, I dislike him man. I don’t know if I ain’t, that’s a strong word. But I am close to the head side. I dislike the man and I can’t wait to really punch his face.”

In a career of 39 wins and 3 losses, Brook has scored 27 KOs in his favor. He is willing to channelize the same energy against Khan, but that can also bring him a harsh fortune. All of Kell Brook’s losses have come via stoppages with the latest one in November 2020 against WBO 147 lbs champion Terence Crawford.

They will meet in a 12-round scrap, which doesn’t seem to go the distance. Relying on both men’s words, they are possibly gunning for a stoppage and can end the fight at the earliest possible point. It can be a feat of action which combat fans shouldn’t miss out on.
