Boxing Legend wants boxing regulations after Lomachenko Vs. Haney
Boxing legend Bernard Hopkins recently gave an interview to FightHype and talked about the controversial fight between Loma and Haney. And, despite talking about the fight and what happened on the night of May 20. Hopkins raised many questions about the regulations in boxing and why it’s important.
Hopkins said, “Let’s not talk about the fight. And let’s talk about what we can do to stop these things from happening.” He further remembered the time world champions like Oscar De La Hoya, Roy Jones Jr, etc., including him, were invited by the “dignitaries” to talk about the regulations in boxing more than 15 years ago.

Referring to the fight, Hopkins claimed that such fights are the reason boxing bouts should be regulated on “all the fronts.” The former world champion further had an intriguing question for boxing fans.
He said, “I have a question for the people. What are the corrupt states? Is it Vegas or Washington, DC?”
There is no doubt that this fight has raised a lot of questions regarding fair play in the sport. And it will be interesting to see what the future of the sport holds.
