Former WBC Interim lightweight champion, Ryan Garcia is currently not in a position to demand an immediate world title shot. He has to resurrect his way to the top again, which will begin with his return against Emmanuel Tagoe on April 9. However, he believes he can already challenge the A-listers, including the undisputed champion George Kambosos Jr.

A few weeks back, Garcia vowed to outwork Kambosos Jr. within seven rounds if they ever cross paths. Now, Rolando Romero has backed ‘KingRy’, ridiculing the newly crowned lightweight king Kambosos Jr. Romero connected exclusively with FightHype.com and shared his views on Garcia facing George Kambosos Jr.

Romero said, “Ryan [Garcia] will murder him. Ryan has a left hook from hell and Teofimo [Lopez] was off that day clearly. I mean when have you seen Teofimo fight like that anytime. One, and he was injured and he didn’t spar for dam near two months.”

Well, George Kambosos Jr. isn’t entertaining either Ryan Garcia or Teofimo Lopez. He will reportedly defend his belts against former champion, Vasyl Lomachenko, with Devin Haney also a possible name on the radar. The fight can happen on June 5 at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, USA, which will be telecasted live on prime-time in the United States.
