As a result, ‘TBE’ filed a petition and requested the Internal Revenue Service to allow him a reprieve from the unpaid taxes until his fight with McGregor was over.
In a similar situation, ahead of the Undisputed Heavyweight fight against Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury is now facing legal problems relating to the matter of unpaid taxes. Here is what has happened.

Tyson Fury and his brothers have been ordered to pay nearly $125,517 over unpaid business tax
On the 17th of February, WBC Heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury will finally share the ring with Unified Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. For the battle to be fought inside the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, ‘The Gypsy King’ has already arrived in Saudi Arabia and training accordingly. However, before the anticipated event, it was revealed that Tyson Fury and his siblings John and Shane Fury avoided paying taxes since April 2021 on a land they owned in Cheshire.

Likewise, Cheshire East Council took the matter to the court. In this process, it has now been discovered that including the council’s court costs, Tyson, John, and Shane Fury have to pay nearly a sum of $125,517. Although Tyson Fury and his brothers did not attend the hearing, their father John Fury who came to the court defended ‘The Gypsy King’.

John Fury Sr. finds the demand of the council and court “ridiculous”
Despite the issue raised by the Cheshire East Council, John Fury Sr. was upset that he had to attend the hearing. “I didn’t even have to be here but I’ve come here today to tell you the boys have nothing to do with anything of it, especially Tyson,” said John Fury Sr.

In addition, John Fury Sr. claimed he could not “read and write” and likewise did not understand “the technical stuff.” However, he defended Tyson Fury by saying, “It’s ridiculous when you’re paying millions of pounds in taxes.
