Ahead of his fight against John Ryder on May 6th, Mexican superstar, Canelo Alvarez is busy preparing. Recently, a video of him practicing his head movement made it out to the public. As the heavy bag went for swings, Alvarez effortlessly slipped it while remaining prepared to punch it if necessary. The 32-year-old and current undisputed super middleweight champion looked in great shape ahead of his 63rd appearance in the pro ring.

Following his loss against Dmitry Bivol last year, a number of fans questioned Canelo’s performance and skills. However, in his last fight, Alvarez faced Gennady Golovkin and secured a UD win. Anyway, Alvarez expressed his desire to fight Bivol in a rematch and is preparing himself accordingly. However, in his latest interaction with the media, he declared he would consider fighting Benavidez if the bout with Bivol did not take place for the time being.

As soon as DAZN Boxing uploaded the brief clip, several fans reacted to it. While some accused Alvarez of ducking David Benavidez, others were impressed by his physique and skills. Ryder is the current WBO interim world super middleweight champion and will fight one of the biggest fights of his career on May 6th. However, Ryder has already tasted defeat five times while Alvarez lost only twice in pro boxing. Watching a bare-bodied Alvarez dodge the swinging bag, user @kdodaghost thought Alvarez was eating well. They commented, “looks like he been eating goooood“.

Meanwhile, user @MrStoneFace1 accused Alvarez of “ducking” Benavidez the same way he ducked the bag.

However, user @GedaAmanuel feels Alvarez is a great champion. “It is impossible to not like @Canelo,” they added by saying.
