Several people believed either Manny Pacquiao or Canelo Alvarez would end Floyd Mayweather’s unbeaten run until both men failed. However, that didn’t stop them from demanding rematches.
Nevertheless, Mayweather has shown no intentions of re-matching his former opponents. That said, Pacquiao and Alvarez will have to live with the loss all their lives. Although they have denied accepting Floyd Mayweather’s superiority, Jeff Mayweather had a simple response to both men.
In a chat with Boxing social, the trainer said. “Manny [Pacquiao] and Canelo [Alvarez] both. I mean, you are lost, accept it. It’s that simple. I mean, you can’t make anyone fight you. You had a chance when that fight was scheduled. You didn’t win, leave it alone. It’s time to walk away from that.”

Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez keep going
Aged 42, ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao will compete against Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight title on August 21. He is the only ever eight-division world champion and the oldest man to grab a 147 lbs championship. While Mayweather’s unscratched resume has 50 wins, Pacquiao holds 62 wins along with his 7 losses and 2 draws.

Meanwhile, P4P King Canelo Alvarez, with 56 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws, is also on the top of the food chain. As the 31-year-old has several more years to see as a pro boxer, his sheer activeness can see him attain triple-digit wins in his career. He will return to action in November to challenge Caleb Plant for the IBF belt. So, it seems all good for the Mexican elite’s fighting future.
