The Mexican champion has lost once in his previous two fights, notably losing to WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol, last year. He jumped back with a win over Gennady Golovkin in September and will look to continue his winning streak. However, the excitement surrounding this upcoming match was somewhat overshadowed by the recent frustrations faced by fans during the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight.

Garcia vs Davis was set up to be one of the biggest fights in boxing and certainly lived up to its expectations. The fight reportedly crossed over 1.2 million PPV buys making it one of the highest-grossing fights in the sport. Despite this, many fans faced issues streaming the fight and even paid twice for the match. For some fans, the PPV which was priced at a whopping $84.99 was certainly not justified as they had to face delays with streaming.
