Ryan Garcia has long expressed his desire to face Gervonta Davis in a potential showdown. And former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson shared his thoughts on the outcome of the highly anticipated faceoff.

Tyson was talking to a correspondent from ES News at a party. In conversation, Tyson was asked about the outcome of the Garcia vs Davis fight, “Ryan Garcia wants to fight Gervonta. What happens when they fight?”

However, Tyson was unsure about the outcome. He responded with a simple, “I don’t know.”

The correspondent then rephrased his question and asked if both fighters had a 50-50 chance. ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson nodded in agreement and mentioned that the fighters do have a 50-50 chance of winning.

Ryan Garcia is scheduled to face Javier Fortuna at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on July 16, 2022. However, boxing fans have long anticipated a Garcia vs Davis showdown.

In fact, Garcia has mentioned that he wishes to face Davis after his fight against Fortuna. Davis, who recently had a spectacular win against Rolando Romero, called out Garcia after his fight. It was reported that Davis leaned over the ropes and shouted at Garcia, telling him that he’s next.

Meanwhile, Garcia responded to Davis for calling him out. He mentioned that he will face Tank after he handles business on July 16. Moreover, he also gave boxing fans a snippet by adding that the potential bout might take place in December.
