Boxing legend Mike Tyson is set to step back into the ring for a one-off exhibition bout against social media star turned boxer Jake Paul. The 57-year-old Tyson will face the 27-year-old Paul on July 20th at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Notably, the bout will be streamed live on Netflix, which will be the streaming platform’s first foray into broadcasting combat sports.

The upcoming fight rekindles a connection between the two. In November 2020, Paul, then in his second professional fight, secured a knockout victory on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. While Tyson initially dismissed any possibility of returning to the ring, he’ll now face Paul in a highly anticipated event set to be streamed to millions of viewers worldwide.

Mike Tyson has now spoken about this anticipated matchup, and has vowed to end the career of ‘The Problem Child’. He stated, “I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul. He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years. It will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.

He also added, “It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish.” Well, it’s quite interesting to see these two titans get inside the ring and create history together. They’ve even released a promotional video for the fight.

This strategic partnership between Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and the streaming giant ensures a global audience for this once-in-a-lifetime fight. MVP, founded by Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul in 2021, has already made a significant impact in the world of combat sports.
