Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury might just face off in a match next year. Following the Ukrainian’s victory over Anthony Joshua in August, many believed that Fury would be the next in line for an undisputed title match.
However, The Gypsy King insisted that the match be made by December 3, which was declined by Usyk’s camp. Fury will instead face longstanding rival Derek Chisora next after talks of a bout with AJ fell through. Despite this, Usyk’s manager has come out and revealed that there are ongoing talks with ‘The Gypsy King’s camp about a potential fight next year.
