Oleksandr Usyk has become a prime persona in the heavyweight division after his shocking win against Anthony Joshua for the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles in September 2021 in London. He is now directly influencing the championship race and has many options before him.
Usyk can re-match Anthony Joshua somewhere in early 2022 or defend his belts separately. Adding to that, the Ukrainian star can opt to move towards an undisputed title fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury. An immediate fight between Usyk and Fury shall leave one man with all four belts, something which Lennox Lewis did last in the heavyweight division.

Several reports suggest Joshua is considering a $20 million step side deal to let Fury vs Usyk happen. However, AJ has rubbished them and claimed that nothing that doesn’t come directly from him should be believed.
