In the recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the 24-year-old lightweight revealed his plan to erase the memory of Gervonta Davis from the sport and defeat one of the most challenging opponents of his career.

Ryan Garcia is determined to decimate Davis

Towards the end of the podcast episode, Garcia was asked to say something for his fans ahead of his fight against the Baltimore hard-hitter. And it seems like the 24-year-old wanted the fans to know he does not plan to go easy on Davis when they meet inside the ring this Saturday.

Garcia said, “I want to come out as authentic as I could. But, just know that this is my moment. This is my time.” He further discussed what the night of April 22 meant for him. He said, “I’ve been wanting this forever. April 22nd, you’re gonna see me take down Gervonta Davis.” Garcia also revealed what he would do to the 28-year-old. He said, “Knocked out, Slept, gone out of everybody’s minds. “

Garcia further said that he is taking everything from Davis on the night of April 22. Garcia concluded by saying, “I’m here to shock the world. And, on April 22nd, you’ll just see that.” Recently, the 24-year-old wheeled out Mike Tyson and sent a stern warning to Gervonta Davis.

This lightweight fight has been the talk of the town for a long time now. And, with both boxers being the top prospects in the division. It’s one of those fights which could not be avoided by any of them. And it’s a fight the fans cannot forget. Both the boxers will risk their undefeated boxing records when they step into the ring on the fight night.
