Lopez seemed pretty confident of beating Devin Haney. He believes that title unification is two steps away from him. However, ‘The Takeover’ will not just have to beat ‘The Dream’ but also another lightweight sensation, Gervonta Davis.
He added, “I beat him, and then what happened, what’s next Gervonta’s WBA what regular champion? He’s WBA regular champion, I am the super champion right!
“Next, you know I beat Devin, they’re gonna be like ‘well you’re not undisputed yet’, because you still gotta beat Gervonta Davis because he has a WBA belt.”
‘The Takeover’ looked keen on booking both these fights, as he knows that winning these will leave no debate as to his position in the lightweight sphere.
