When Tyson Fury last fought Derek Chisora in 2022, no fans anticipated they would have to wait a long time to see the ‘Gypsy King’ fight step foot in the ring again. And, even though fans found hope when the negotiations for the undisputed fight against Oleksandr Usyk were underway. But, those hopes did not last long as these hopes collapsed, crushing the fans’ anticipations. And since then, the boxing world has been waiting for the Brit to announce his return to the ring. And, even though Fury’s name has been involved with numerous heavyweights for a fight, there has been no confirmation yet. But, it seems like the CEO of Top Rank Boxing has some names of himself.

Bob Arum recently opened up about a “whole list” of potential opponents who are considering fighting Tyson Fury.  Arum remained positive while talking about the next fights which can take place for the reigning WBC heavyweight champion.

Bob Arum believes there are “a lot of good opponents”

In a recent interview with IFL TV, the veteran promoter opened up about the next potential opponents for Fury. And discussed how Fury’s promoters would play a pivotal role in making the fights happen by choosing from “many” opponents.

Arum said, “There is a whole list, You go down the list of contenders in various organizations and pick one.” Naming an opponent Fury himself, Arum added, “This guy that beat Tony Yoka, He is a good possibility.” However, Arum struggled to remember the name of the heavyweight. But it seems like he was talking about Carlos Takam. Arum believes that there are a number of good opponents for Fury.

Moreover, Arum also talked about how it is Frank and Gorge Warren’s responsibility to sort out with Fury about his potential opponents. A recent clip of Tyson Fury getting punched in the face by a fan has taken the internet by storm. It seems like the 91-year-old promoter is positive about an upcoming fight with Tyson Fury.

When asked if a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will not see the ring because of the relationship between Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn, Arum responded, “I don’t think that’s a factor at all. You can certainly vision the fight happening if Tyson Fury does win the fight to Usyk. And Anthony Joshua beats Deontay Wilder.”
