Naoya Inoue, fresh off his electrifying victory over Stephen Fulton, has ascended to the coveted #2 spot on the pound-for-pound rankings. This meteoric rise has caught the attention of none other than Mayweather himself, who has laid down the gauntlet for a showdown that could redefine the sport.

Moreover, in a bold and attention-grabbing move, ‘Money’ has now put forth a challenge that has resonated across the boxing world. Mayweather has expressed his desire for the Japanese superstar to make his mark on U.S. soil. However, his proposal comes with a unique condition that has ignited a firestorm among fans.

In a recent interview with FightHype.com ‘TBE’ revealed his interest in getting ‘The Monster’ to come to the United States. In addition, he wants the Japanese star to fight his former prodigy Gervonta Davis in a catchweight bout. However, the added caveat to this will be the random drug testing conducted in the U.S. as opposed to Japan.

“I need him [Naoya Inoue] to come fight in the U.S., random blood and urine testing. I think he’s a hell of a fighter, I like him. What I would like to see is if he can fight Gervonta [Tank] at a catchweight,” Mayweather declared.

The prospect of Inoue, who has found his dominance at 122 pounds, facing off against the larger Davis at a catchweight has ignited debates about fairness and competitiveness. Moreover, Mayweather’s additional demands have caused a stir among fans. Inoue, like any professional fighter, is subject to stringent drug testing protocols. The former champion’s call for additional testing has also left many wondering whether there’s more to the story than meets the eye.

A user named Michael Diaz claimed that Mayweather had no shame. This was because of his insistence on Davis not moving up to face Ryan Garcia while asking Inoue to do the same.

Another user thought ‘Money’ was ‘cherry picking’ fights for ‘Tank’ like he did in his career.

Moreover, a user added that all of Davis’ fights have clauses that give him an advantage in the ring.

However, a user named Mike Morris thought this was a good matchup.

Meanwhile, a user demanded that Inoue be tested the same way as Mayweather with a six-week testing period in a year.
