Boxing’s first billionaire is known for sharing his uber-luxurious lifestyle with fans. With a net worth slated around $450 million, Floyd Mayweather Jr. jet-sets across the globe on one of his Gulfstreams. But for the boxer with a slew of high-end cards to take care of the roads, traveling on the water seemed like the last frontier to breach. Finally, however, he accomplished the feat a few years ago as he reportedly bought a luxury yacht for which he shelled roughly $200 million! With a few days left for the John Gotti III fight, he took to his Instagram account @floydmayweather and shared a few clips of him lounging on the deck of his yacht.
By the look of it, it appears it is docked in Miami, Florida, where he also owns a palatial mansion. Nevertheless, the post has already received over 200k likes and many comments at the time of writing this article.

Ahoy! Captain Floyd Mayweather Jr.
An user seemed worried and wonders whether Mayweather Jr. will be without a penny if he spends the money the way he does. Probably getting the former champion’s net worth incorrectly, Francis mentioned that he’s squandering cash like a billionaire! He said, “Dude… This man is going to go broke if he continues spending like he’s a billionaire, theirs [is] a difference [between] having 200m and having 10b.”
Meanwhile, a few users did try to correct Francis. In the meantime, another user congratulated Mayweather Jr. on his success and wealth and contended that, given all the hardships the latter went through, he truly deserves the best things in life, “We believe and witness what you went through. You deserve every joy you like. You inspire everyone, even your enemies. they just want to be like you broh we love you.”
But the following user laughed out loud, observing an open cigar humidor in front of the former champion. He wondered what is it doing there when Mayweather Jr. did not even smoke, “N***a don’t even smoke and got cigars in front of him.…” Then, echoing a not-so-dissimilar line, this user also got to the specifics and stated that it’s no secret that the glass in Mayweather Jr.’s left hand contained plain water.

According to the user, the boxer reached his current level by not putting his body through poison, harmful substances, or vices. Instead, he attained the summit through sheer grit and determination, “WE KNOW IT’S WATER IN THAT CUP CHAMP !! THAT’S HOW YOU GOT HERE NO POISON IN YOUR BODY, HARD WORK, AND DEDICATION !! BLESSINGS KING !! MY GREATEST OF ALL TIME! (FLOYD MAYWEATHER).”
However, an user contemplated seriously what success means to her. For her, the mantra of ‘work hard, play hard’ seems to work. So, believing it could be for others, the user appreciated Mayweather Jr. ultimately for his accomplishments. She said, “Work hard, play hard. Such a goal for myself and, I’m sure many others. Love this for you.”
