The Canelo Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders bout is set to be one of the biggest fights in recent history. The two have a history between them and have wanted to fight each other for a while. They have now got their wish, and heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has given his thoughts on the fight.
Undefeated Saunders will face P4P star Alvarez on May 8, in an event that has already broken records. The two champions will compete for the unified super-middleweight championship of the world. And experts believe Alvarez is the favorite. However, Fury is not buying it.
The 30-0-1 boxer took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him and Saunders in training and gave his honest views. He wrote, “@saundersbillyjoe is 100% mentally in the right place, he knows what he has to do and he will do it, he will rise up and claim greatness.”

This caption part of the caption from Fury showed his confidence in Saunders’ ability. Tyson then pointed out the number of times experts wrote him off, and he was victorious. ‘The Gypsy King’ then claimed that Saunders was cut from the same cloth as him and thus, would come out on top.
