Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte’s long-awaited fight might just materialize now. The two teams engaged in talks earlier, but they couldn’t strike a deal as Whyte’s team demanded a 45% cut for the fight. Later, WBC shook ‘The Body Snatcher’ and his team by announcing an 80/20 split, with the majority going in Fury’s favor.

With that, it seemed as if this fight won’t materialize further. However, Fury recently posted a video wherein he inadvertently confirmed his fight with ‘The Body Snatcher’. In this video, ‘The Gypsy King’ also gave a warning to Whyte.

“I can’t wait to punch Dillian Whyte’s face right in May. I’m going to give him the best idea he’s ever had in his life, boy. Dillian Whyte, train hard su*ker because you’re getting annihilated bum.” he said.

The WBC gave Fury and Whyte’s teams a deadline until January 26. But the deadline has now been pushed for the last time to this Friday. Post that, this contest would go to purse bids, opening the way for other promoters to sneak in.

However, Fury‘s above comments give a ray of hope to hardcore boxing enthusiasts who’re keen to see him back in action. Whyte holds the WBC interim heavyweight title, and this makes him a top contender for Fury.
