Ryan Garcia is getting his money’s worth as his attorney grapples with yet another debacle. On Saturday, the boxing superstar was arrested for felony vandalism after a Beverly Hills hotel accused him of causing damages worth around $15,000. However, rather than lamenting the unfortunate situation, Garcia seems to have gotten himself in a back-and-forth with a critic!

Garcia’s attorney, Darin Chavez, in a statement on Saturday, suggested the arrest came amid his mother’s unfortunate breast cancer diagnosis and may have affected his judgment. Meanwhile, Ryan Garcia seems to be using Hollywood’s favorite villain ‘Joker’ from ‘Batman’ to sensationalize his arrest, which eventually led to his squabble with an X user today.

Ryan Garcia mocked for childish behavior

A couple of days after Garcia was booked at the Beverly Hills Police Department jail, he hoped on X to share a clip tied together with scenes of him getting arrested and scenes of ‘Joker’ from the movies, highlighting similarities in their situations. This seems to have elicited a response from a fan who wrote, “Grown man btw…”, implying despite Garcia’s age he is behaving like a child, showcasing a lack of remorse.

Given the troll and antagonist Ryan Garcia seems to have become since the announcement of his fight against Devin Haney, the comment from the user rubbed him the wrong way. He came back to the post to hit back at the user criticizing his actions in life. The Victorville native wrote, “And you are a grown man hiding behind a yellow screen”, referring to the user’s blank yellow profile picture.

Garcia’s recent arrest is just the latest addition to his already mounting troubles. Back in April, Garcia was accused of taking performance-enhancing drugs before and during the fight against Devin Haney. He then tested positive for the substance both in his A and B samples, as he awaits trial in front of the New Your State Athletic Commission, which will dictate his future in the sport.

Seeing Garcia’s pitiful state, an American mixed martial artist has shared his thoughts on Garcia’s mental health.

Sean O’Malley doesn’t think Garcia is doing well!

Just before his arrest, Ryan Garcia had revealed his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, which many didn’t believe at first. However, Garcia had tweeted he would harm himself if anything happened to his mother! This seems to have been the tipping point for Sean O’Malley, who has also exchanged words of derogation with Ryan Garcia in the past, but this time, Malley seemed more sympathetic.

During his podcast on YouTube yesterday, the UFC champion said, “He’s got issues. Did you see him talking about his mom has cancer and then if she dies he’s gonna kill himself type s**t, did you see that? That’s f**king scary…He’s not doing good”. It’s also worth mentioning that Garcia’s mother, Lisa Garcia, had confirmed the cancer diagnosis on social media, but the specifics of the diagnosis are unknown.

Despite getting arrested and having his career on the brink of destruction, Ryan Garcia seems to be spiraling down into a pit of mental health issues, as he feuds with random people on the internet. So, it begs the question, does ‘King Ry’ need help? Will the Haney fight become his last?
